Hello, I'm Camila Rinaldi, a Brazilian native currently residing in the vibrant city of NYC. My mission is twofold: to create culinary experiences that bring joy to people's lives and to contribute towards a better world. I am driven by a deep passion for exploring new flavors and channeling these inspirations into my dishes.

One of my primary goals is to inspire individuals to embrace home cooking, showing them that it doesn't have to be complicated or intimidating. With a little creativity and by utilizing the tools and ingredients readily available, anyone can prepare delicious meals right in their own kitchen.

I am also a staunch advocate of the #zerowaste movement. I firmly believe that we can do so much more with the ingredients we already have in our fridges and pantries. By being resourceful and finding innovative solutions for scraps and overlooked parts, we can significantly reduce food waste. Let's consider, for instance, the often discarded cauliflower stems and leaves, which can be transformed into wonderful additions for soups, stews, and salads. Leftovers, when approached with creativity, can be transformed into extraordinary meals that surpass mere reheating. Overripe avocados have the potential to become a delectable green goddess salad dressing, and orange peels can be infused into stews, cakes, pancakes, or refreshing beverages.

For me, cooking is not merely a hobby; it holds immense importance for every human being, much like writing and reading. It is an act of self-love, a way of prioritizing oneself. The kitchen, historically known as the heart of the house, embodies a space of generosity, and it is our duty to preserve and honor it.

In a world saturated with fast food and convenience, I strive for a paradigm shift. More cooking, less ordering. More emphasis on freshness, less reliance on processed meals. This is the world I envisionโ€”a world where the kitchen becomes a sanctuary of creativity, nourishment, and sustainability. Let's embark on this culinary journey together and create a brighter future, one delicious meal at a time.

Another one for the books. Happy to bring Brazilian food and zero waste concept to @meetresident. My fav part of the day def is hearing the guests opinions on their fav dishes. Missing first course but alas!
